JEE or Odisha Joint Entrance Exam is a state-level entrance exam conducted for admission to various graduate and post-graduate courses by OJEE Cell. The admissions are provided to various government and private management institutes in the state of Odisha. OJEE exam is held every year in Computer-based mode (CBT). Earlier, the exam was also conducted in paper-based test mode (PBT).
OJEE is conducted for admission to courses such as MBA/PGDM, MCA,B.TEch, B.Pharm, Lateral Entry B.Tech, Lateral Entry MCA courses. OJEE 2021 will be held between June 17, 2021 to June 24, 2021, and the registration process began on April 14, 2021. OJEE 2021 Registrations
OJEE registrations 2021 began on April 14, 2021 and the last date fill the application form is May 15, 2021. The OJEE application form 2021 is available online only on the OJEE official website. There are different application forms for OJEE exam and Special OJEE exam. Special OJEE exam is for admission to vacant seats of BTech, Lateral Entry BTech, BPharm, MBA, MCA and Lateral Entry MCA courses. Registrations for OJEE 2021 will end in the third week of April 2021 whereas Special OJEE registrations will continue till the first week of July 2021. Also, students should keep in mind that there is a different OJEE form for different courses. Incomplete application forms will be rejected. Explained below are the steps of how to fill the OJEE application form.
OJEE Cell also provides dates for correction window where the applicants can edit or correct their application forms before the last date. Applicants can change their photographs, signatures and also fee payment.
OJEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for OJEE vary for different undergraduate and post-graduate courses. Listed below are the minimum eligibility criteria for OJEE 2021:
- Candidate must have completed Class 12 from a recognised board for admission to undergraduate courses
- Candidate must have a bachelors’ degree or equivalent from a recognised university in a relevant discipline
- Candidate must have completed a diploma or bachelors’ degree from a relevant stream to apply for lateral entry courses
How to Apply for OJEE 2021?
OJEE registration cum application form will be available online on the official website from the scheduled date. Below are the steps that candidates need to follow for filling OJEE application form.
- Visit the official website of OJEE and click on the ‘Online Registration’ tab
- Choose the application form- A, B, C, D or E according to your course selection
- Fill in the relevant details carefully and submit the form
- The candidate will receive a registration number and will have to create a password after that. The registration number and the password are to kept safely as they will be important for future logins
- Next step includes uploading all the relevant documents, like photograph (5KB to 99KB file size and 3.5cm x 4.5cm dimensions), full signature (5KB to 50KB file size and 3.5cm x 1.5cm dimensions) and left hand thumb impression (5KB to 50KB file size and 3.5cm x 1.5cm dimensions). The documents have to be in the JPEG/JPG format
- After filling the application form carefully the candidates have to pay the application fee using debit/credit card or through e-challan by a deposit in OJEE Bank Account with State Bank of India (State Bank Collect)
OJEE Counselling 2021
Candidates can sit for OJEE counselling for the final seat allotment. The counselling takes place online and offline as well. After registering for the OJEE counselling students will have to register online and then lock their choice. The counselling cell releases a seat allotment list for colleges available based on the choice filled by the candidates and merit list.
For confirming their seat, the applicants will have to present original documents needed for the verification process. The candidates will have to submit a copy of the documents at the counselling centre. Applicants also will have to submit a part fee payment of Rs 1000 for the General category and Rs 500 for SC/ST/PC categories. Finally, the students will have to report at the college with a seat allotment letter and submit the remaining fee.
